Wembley (London) House Demolition
We conducted a total demolition project on a property in Wembley, West London. A total demolition is usually a more sizeable project, where we go in and use an excavator to demolish larger structures and then manually demolish the rest so that we can sort through the rubble and recycle whatever possible. We prioritise recycling and taking care of the environmental impact we have as a demolition and groundworks company. By sifting through the rubble and recycling reusable materials and by using an aggregate was plant we do our utmost to minimise any waste produced by demolition.
As we take health and safety incredibly seriously at Feltham Demolition, we follow a six-step process before we undertake any demolition or groundworks projects to keep our team and the public safe.
Our health and safety procedure is as follows:
- A documented health and safety policy is drawn up and put into place
- We go through all health and safety procedures
- We run through environmental policy and procedures
- We run through COSHH assessments
- We have our ‘toolbox talks’ with the demolition crew so everyone is up to date and ready to work efficiently and safely
- BS6187:2011 Code of Practice for Demolition
Chalfont St Peters Groundworks Project
As with every project we undertake, we go through a rigorous series of steps before starting the project to ensure that our team feels safe and know what they are doing, and that the demolition site has been checked for any hazards and is safe for us to work on.
Our procedure is as follows:
- A documented health and safety policy is drawn up and put into place
- We go through all health and safety procedures
- We run through environmental policy and procedures
- We run through COSHH assessments
- We have our ‘toolbox talks’ with the demolition crew so everyone is up to date and ready to work efficiently and safely

Sutton Demolition & Groundworks Project
Once the rubble has been sorted through and any recyclables have been sent to recycling, we are able to fill up our specialist skips and put our professional muck away services to use by clearing up the demolition site. This prepares it for any future construction that may be taking place on the site and leaves it clean and ready to be worked on.
Before we began demolition, we followed our thorough six step procedure to ensure our crew and the environment were protected. The procedure is as follows:
- A documented health and safety policy is drawn up and put into place
- We go through all health and safety procedures
- We run through environmental policy and procedures
- We run through COSHH assessments
- We have our ‘toolbox talks’ with the demolition crew so everyone is up to date and ready to work efficiently and safely
