We understand the risks that demolition works pose to those on site as well as the nearby public. As such, health and safety is of paramount importance across all aspects of our company and services.

TRAINING
All our site-based demolition contractors are fully trained and we regularly update training in all aspects of health and safety, including safe working procedures. In this way, we ensure all employees understand and follow latest best practices.
For health and safety training, we often use iHASCO, a market leading provider of construction site safety and CDM-compliant health and safety training.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
We provide all operatives with the PPE they need to carry out work in a safety critical way. We maintain all equipment to a high standard and replace it when necessary.
HEALTH & SAFETY AWARENESS
At Feltham Groundworks, we communicate the importance of health and safety awareness throughout the company. We control this using a structured system developed in line with current legislation and industry standards.
Our health and safety management system contains six elements:

We regularly review and develop this system in consultation with experienced health and safety advisors.
RISK ASSESSMENTS & METHOD STATEMENTS
Whether working in Egham, Staines, Twickenham, Woking or elsewhere, at the start of every project we carry out specific risk assessments. We also develop method statements that clearly define operations.
The team undertaking operations reads and signs off each method statement. They then receive an induction, toolbox talks and safety awareness training that is relevant to the duties they will be carrying out.
Feltham Groundworks Services Ltd has an excellent health and safety record, with absolutely no reportable RIDDOR accidents in the last three years.
