We recently completed a total demolition job on two buildings at the University of East London.
Total demolition case study
Job description
Selected as a leading London demolition contractor, we were hired by the University of East London to completely demolish two buildings on their university campus. We made sure to complete the total demolition while being minimally disruptive to the students and faculty on campus. The demolition went swiftly and we were able to complete our job without any issues.
It was great to use our brand new 13 ton JCB on this project to carefully demolish the buildings and to remove all the rubble from the premises.
Demolition and the environment
At Feltham Demolition, we care about the environment. As we were working on a busy university campus, we had to make sure we were adhering to the high standards we set for ourselves in terms of environmental regulations. This is why we ensure that with every demolition job we undertake, we uphold rigorous environmental policies, and recycle any rubble we can. We bring all the rubble from our demolition projects to an aggregate plant where the materials that can be turned into aggregate will be, and will therefore be reused in future construction projects. We also ensure to minimally disrupt residents and the environment around us while we work.
